This enchanting voyage follows the west coast of India to Goa, taking in the highlights of Diu, Mumbai and Ratnagiri along the way. We stop for an overnight stay in Mumbai, the vibrant city with a population of over 20 million. It’s best known for its Indo-Saracenic Arch, the ‘Gateaway To India’, its huge spice market, Bollywood entertainment and 130-year-old open-air Dhobi Ghat laundromat where the washers (known locally as dhobis) clean hundreds of thousands of pieces from Mumbai’s hotels and hospitals every day.
