Our voyage departs from Portsmouth and heads west towards Weymouth, passing the Isle of Wight and the sandy beaches of Bournemouth. At Weymouth, you could walk the pebbles of Chesil Beach, or simply relax on the sands of the Victorian seafront.
Our next stop is Falmouth where we’ll overnight to give you ample opportunity for exploring southern Cornwall’s spectacular coastline. The town itself has a rich history of pirate activity, and the nearby Lizard Peninsula offers craggy cliff tops, white-sand beaches and astonishingly clear-blue waters.
Travelling up the Roseland Heritage Coast, we’ll dock in Fowey – a picturesque little town set on a steep hillside above the mouth of the River Fowey. Here, indulge in classic British fish and chips, visit 16th-century castle ruins, or walk some of the gorgeous coastal path to pretty, secluded beaches.
Dartmouth is our next port of call, with its great museums and twin castles at the mouth of the River Dart, and our voyage ends in Poole, Dorset – a great jumping-off point to explore the Jurassic Coast or Brownsea Island.
